Katrina Graduate from Concordia University in 2014 with an BFA. After completing her degree, she moved to Toronto to study architecture, and is now working full time as an artist, primarily painting. Her paintings rely on the visual language of colour, pattern, layering and spatial tension to explore intimate relationships and ideas of loss, memory, love, displacement, instability and transition. Formed by blurring these concepts, her work breaks free from a fixed meaning, instead becoming a layered solidification of thoughts and feelings.
