Dan Nuttall has a professional background in the natural sciences and design. Much of his art practice is based on this background and, unsurprisingly, his work tends to focus on issues such as space and sensing, notions of landscape and habitat, and the experiences of non-human animals. His rendering of the purely sensual experience of beauty in nature has a deeper underlying concern for the planet and its ecology.

Why is it important for people to have art in their home or life?
