My favourite book is The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy for its stunning visual images.

What artists do you admire right now?

I am stunned by the work of Marianne Kolb, her magical transparency, perfect colour and human pain, all in a brushstroke.

Who do you consider a genius?

I consider J.S. Bach a genius. He takes the notes and makes poetry.

Why is art important to you?

Art breaks through people telling you, rules of every day, like how to dress, what to say, feeling the judgment of others, and gives the soul peace.

Describe the person your work appeals to in 3 words

I think my work appeals to people who are sponatneous, witty and curious

I love a tall glass of cold water with lime!

During my breaks, i drift to the computer and play a couple of chess games.
