Lori Ann Bellissimo

Lori-Ann Bellissimo is a Canadian artist born in Toronto and educated in Canada and the UK. Her paintings are part of private and public collections in Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia, including the collections of Price Waterhouse Coopers, Barclays Bank and the MGM Group. Lori-Ann's personal sense of  achievement lies with the diverse cultural experiences her art has brought her into contact with: hitchhiking through Canada’s High Arctic; hunting with Inuit; attending university in the UK on scholarship; and learning traditional art and healing methods from the Aboriginal people of Malaysia, to name a few. Between 2007-2010, she attained three lucrative residencies and various dealer representation in Southeast Asia, where she made lifelong friendships with art collectors and prestigious clientele. Lori-Ann then moved to her ancestral Italy, where she painted free of the expectations of the marketplace and academia. Her work from this period was featured prominently in exhibitions on her return to Canada. She is currently independent of representation and open to possibilities. Featured in Interior Design Magazine for her commissioned work for award winning projects in Las Vegas, she recently completed commissions for The William Vale Hotel, Brooklyn, New York.
