In her work, Shannon Taylor-Jones expresses a language of unique intuition. Using oil paint on canvas and wood panel, her compositions and lush painted areas allow positive and negative space to intermingle as subject matter. With a focus on instinctive and heavy paint application, her mark-making reflects the organic surfaces on which they are painted.
